Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Importing Characters and Gear to another game?

I don't see a good reason to implement a feature like this, just play the game with your friends and play something else when they aren't available. However if you want to be able to jump in and out of a game with your own character you can try by starting the game with a new character then leaving them at camp when you aren't playing. You still get EXP so you just level your character when you come back and Bob's your Uncle. Plus since DnD 5th is less dependent on magical items you're not really missing out much on equipment but even then if the owner of the game is nice they can leave a selection of items in camp for you to grab when you return.
