Ingredients:
- A sussur bloom that is in your inventory
- A backpack that is in your inventory
- A heavy chest that is in your inventory

Recipe:
Fold 1 sussur blossom into a backpack. After this is done, fold the backpack gently into the heavy chest. Now that it has settled, lightly place the heavy chest on the ground and walk away. You should now have a permanent sussur bloom effect on you that you can't get rid of.

EDIT: Actually, ANY container you put it in, if you put the container down, will cause everyone to have the permanent effect. Does not need to be nested.

What is the problem you are solving? Does your proposed change solve the problem? Is your change feasible? What else will be affected by your change? Will your change impact revenue? Does your change align with the goals and strategies of the organizations (Larian, WotC)?

the bug is that the blossom loses its effect if sent to your camp chest

the fact thing in bags don't count on your ui is by design so not a bug

The blossom is supposed to lose its effect if sent to camp, or brought above ground/into bright light in any way.

Getting sussur bloom stuck on your character permanently when you do not have a sussur bloom anywhere near you is very clearly an unintended situation, so, yes, that is very much a bug.

If you can spare the time and energy, I'd recommend submitting this one to their official bug report form (here: https://larian.com/support/baldur-s-gate-3#modal), with some replication instructions a save file ready to reproduce it (make sure to include the whole folder for the save, including the thumbnail).

yes but sending it "to camp" isn't sending to the surface unless you move to the surface first and then camp... as of a patch or two back, "camping" in the underdark should be seen as actually camping down there or whats the point of the new graphics showing a cave and all the weard plants?

in any event Larian knows putting things in chests fucks the game [like a certain idel in the druid grove] and they also know their new camp rules don't really work but this is just EA and they have not told us what rules, spells, quests and changes are planned for the final realease so its by design but true prob not a great design yet

To clarify, the bug I experienced is the one described in the OP - at the Sussur tree, I put all the blooms in a backpack, then dropped the backpack near the jump glyph so that I could get them later. My characters ended up with permanent sussur bloom effects that I couldn't get rid of by picking up and dropping a bloom. I'll send a bug report, thanks!
