You have to learn how to be tricky.
One is ofcourse to climb up onto the rafters WITH a warlock that can PUSH (and thus make others fall) with their eldritch blast.
Magic missiles WITH the necklace from the Funguys (myconid) village for not merely extra damage but distributing the 2 die (and thus almost predictable) damage to finish off foes. Especially those that havent hit yet on this round.
And ofcourse, steal the smokepowder next door. Place it all over the room running back and forth... then a single free firespell and watch the world burn.
All in all, bypass the goblins early on or just chat em up but initiate no violence until ready to head to the grimforge. Thank goodness the Bulette has been nerfed the way it used to roam and slaughter... now that was a deadly moving encounter hitting you over and over and over again anywhere and at any time.
Also no need to be afraid of using halsin as a tank in that encounter. He dies? So what. Its not like anyone offering to help actually CAN help. Mostly they just do harm. Wormeye clan gotta stick together and murderhobo everyone else. Also the worm might be a friend... maybe. Gives you magic powers afterall, ok psionic. They are afterall individuals unlike the absolute hivemind. The underdark mindflayer free from the hivemind after all is probly a nice guy.
