Thought I would mention this because someone in the blogs mentioned spears. People wielding spears can be incredibly formidable opponents when wielding spears two handed. I am hoping and am expecting Larian to have their characters exhibit excellent spear wielding skills. If you don't believe me, go and google warriors wielding spears in real life combat. It seems society seems to think spears are a somewhat useless weapon. They could not be more wrong. And if this topic has already been mentioned, then my apologies. What is this even about? animations are what they are. room for improvement? sure.
When it comes to real combat all sorts of things are in play range number of enimies and so on and all that has little to do with DnD and video game where you somehow do not need dex to wield most melee weapons. i think that say it all on it's own.
