You can have 3 bonus action as well so not sure what to tell you. Larian wants more action economy even with all the changes we are no where close what DoS 2 succces did with AP, so they need to try to get close to that. In video games there is no need to limit actions as much, everything is done automatically and the game plays a lot faster then table top.
That's an odd way of looking at it - generally action economy isn't used to speed up combat, but to have players make interesting choices. If anything singleplayer team based game can take advantage of more limited actions per character, as one player controls them off, leading to more interplay between characters.
And speaking of D:OS2 it limited amount of AP available to players when compared to D:OS1. Really, I would hesitate to call D:OS2 AP system more generous, though it is somewhat flexible as one resource is used for both movement and abilities. DnD5e on the other hand has 3 per turn resources: movement, full action, bonus action - with abilties using one of more of those resources. It is just a different system and it should not be treates as an AP system, which is simply rather different way of doing things.
As to what we are likely to get - I honestly struggle to fully visualize it without playing higher levels using this system. The are some worries I have, but at this point I am just willing to wait and see how things will turn out. It certianly looks like a more flexible system then what DnD5e has, but it also could be a very bad thing.
