I also wrote a thread about the same topic, when the EA version was released.
One of my main problems with the game is, that everything looks super clean, unused, not dirty and shiny. No armor, no dungeon, no weapon looks dirty which is a big immersion breaker for me. Even in the newest trailer with minsc, there is no darker scene. I know they added some dirt/blood layers sometimes which is a improvement, but the overall look is not realistic.
I love how detailed the graphics are, but I guess with some shaders it could be even more improved.
