But I think too that there should be more diverse dialogue options for an even better role playing experience. There are a few dialogues where none of the options really fit my character, since they all go basically in the same direction. And I would prefer if there was, for example, an ingame reason why I should explore the Overgrown Ruins. As a player, I know that it makes sense, since we will meet Withers there, but it does not make a lot of sense for my character. But other than that, I was pleasantly surprised that I had a lot of opportunities to play my characters the way I imagined them beforehand.
No need to rush. I look forward to reading what you have to say. I think that in my last playthrough, I played a character that's a bit more in line with the options Larian offered, but I can see pretty easily going in a direction Larian hasn't prepared for in a future playthrough.

I feel like giving a release window like this is pretty normal. Or at least it's not abnormal. I don't think there's any need to worry. Larian's been taking their time with the game overall, and that's usually a good sign that delays aren't going to be an issue. But there's of course no way of knowing for sure, so don't fret about it.
