The game doesn't go to 20th level.

The first one is clearly a Fallen Aasimar, partially Skeletal wings.

The second one is either a Protector Aasimar or they ported in Battleforce Angels into the Forgotten Realms. I lean towards Aasimar.

And to those who think they will go to all the effort of creating Aasimar NPCs, but then decide naw, it's more fan to tease Aasimar fans with the hope of playing Aasimar, then actually use all the Aasimar assets to make them playable, I have to ask why?

I mean Aasimar aren't even a monster race unlke Drow and Gobliniods, there are no Aasimar Monster stats in 5e. So creating Aasimar mechanics and art and more for just a couple if NPCs seems absurdly wasteful.

Aasimar are playing in Neverwinter Nights 2, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, Wrath of the Righteous, Kingmaker, possibly elsewhere. The only time Aasimar appear only as NPCs is in Planescape Torment because you don't get to pick your race period.

I just find the idea that the Aasimar won't be playable to be Absurd.
