For me their best patch is the Grymforge one. This is pretty obvious since it added the largest amount of content among all the patches. I don't think patch 9 would have ever top that without a new zone. Now that most features are in, I can understand why Larian wouldn't release new big patches since they would be unerwhelming considering the groundwork is already layed.
