Reading the paladin dialogue... they are just so obnoxious

Paladins have always been that way smile

In the original D&D rules Paladins could only be Lawful/Good and follow appropriate divinities. There was no moral greyness, you lost your divine powers if you strayed from L/G in your actions, unless you performed atonement specified by your deity.

For evil deities like Lolth, there was an alternative class called the Blackguard that had similar divine powers, but oriented towards Chaotic/Evil. Blackguards seem to have disappeared in official 5e, so I guess oathbreaker is as near to Blackguard as you will get in BG3.

Although, I notice that patch 9 notes say that Minthara is now a Paladin, and she is from Lolth-loving Menzoberranzan, which seems to not fit the 5e class definition smile So who knows what will be available when the game releases.

Oathbreak fills the role of Blackguard, but Oathbreakers aren't really required to be evil (outside the DMG suggesting they are filled with darkness and fallen Paladins). Some of the supplements material have Paladin subclass that fit evil gods. For a Lolth follower, either Conquest or the Paladin Of the Crown (for a Paladin that focus on his duty/loyalty to his Drow House) would fit I think. But that's not in the early access and not in the PhB so probably not the release game either. There is a small hope for Of the Crown since the Oathbreaker Knight was one thought. Vengeance can twisted via the Paladin's perception of what is the greater evil (which would change greatly based on your culture), but that might be too much work to implement for a video game.

Minthara was switched to Paladin, but, I haven't checked myself, I believe she is an Oathbreaker, which makes since, she was a Lolth follower before switching to the Absolute. So her pre-Absolute Paladin subclass could have been anything. By her behavior, I'm going to guess it was Conquest...
