Currently there is no way to set attack of opportunity and such things as reactions that can be prompted or "asked" for right? I SERIOUSLY hope this will change so all reactions can be included in their reaction system.

I hope so top. Really, there is no reason not to do it, as it can be automated anyway for those who want it. One one hand, paladin's Protection is a new addition and it works like attack of the opportunity - on the other hand there is no feedback at all (it seems to work as combat log lists attacks done with disadvantage, but nothing otherwise indicated it goes off), so it is clealrly not finished.

Yeah hoping the reaction system isn't finished yet, it certainly needs to include all potential reactions or it's half-assed.

Hmm.... no shield spell yet either... surely they MUST include that spell at launch?

Feather Fall could get it's reaction tag as well with all the Shoving.

My suspicion is yes. The EA version is probably only applying to a limited number of options so that we can test out how well the system works. Full release will then probably have a far more refined version of the mechanic, applied to everything that should be covered by it.

Yes, I noticed the lack of shield too, which is why I think that we're not seeing a full implementation of the Reaction Mechanic in this portion of Early Access.

Has anyone tried using Bardic Inspiration with the current reaction system? Has it evolved from patch 8?

Once I'm done with my Paladin play-through, I am definitely going to give Bards another spin. Will keep you informed.

+1, definitely want to see old reactions moved to the new system including feather fall and attack of opportunity

yeah it was funy half assed for sure. What good is a reaction if you use it before you need it.
AoO needs to be a reaction not a toggle(well it can be both) and sneak attack needs to be toggle not an active same as horder braker!

Exactly! As it is now, your counterspell might never come into play due to an attack of opportunity.

Honestly, shouldn't they have thought about that? Isn't this strange? Obviously ALL reactions need to work in the same reaction system. So weird??
