Thanks to Larian for working on Reactions and addressing other things like Wizard's learning every spell from scrolls. However, there are many things to comment on for further improvement.
REACTIONS:- I did not see Attack of Opportunity on my Reactions window for options.
- I did not see Warding Flare (Light Cleric) on my Reactions window for options.
- There seemed to be a bug with Bardic Inspiration on some characters where it would show a character as Inspired but not give the Reactions or dice roll options.
- When enemies attack you with MULTIATTACK, you only got the option to react on the first attack. If I was already able to roll high enough on the first roll, I could not use Reactions on the 2nd, 3rd attacks.
- Will Featherfall be a proper Reaction if/when a character is Shoved?
- Will Shield be added as a spell now that Reactions are available?
COMBAT:- When will we be able to TARGET buffs/debuffs that target multiple people? This janky systems of moving around the radius to hope to get the correct targets doesn't work and creates a lot of issues? How come we can't just select 3 or 4 people to Bless, etc? What is going on with this system?
- Attacking a PRONE enemy in melee range still does not reflect ADVANTAGE on tooltip or character. The log shows you roll with ADVANTAGE, but the % chance and tooltip is not updated when highlighting PRONE enemies.
- LEVEL 5 BALANCING still needs work. Gekh's new stats don't make much sense and he was still easy to kill at Level 6 because he only has 12 AC.
- The new Minthara AI is weird. She spams her Branding buff on the Goblins, but doesn't do much else. Now that she is a Paladin, she doesn't offer much when kept at range. Where did her Misty Step amulet go as a loot item?
- HASTE should NOT allow casting of two leveled spells per turn, only for attacks or other full action. HASTE into two Fireballs is busted (I did not use this, but noting this needs to be addressed).
- HUNTER'S MARK does now cast BEFORE enemy AI shoots enemies, but I noticed enemy Goblin Warlocks do ELDRITCH BLAST before HEX. This should be fixed.
- One of the HOOKED HORROR did not trigger Crying In Alarm whatsoever when I killed them.
- A few of the ranged crossbowmen AI completely bugged out and either did NOTHING or spammed Dash and did not move during the entire combat.
- Enemy Combat AI is still overall disjointed with some turns/actions that make no sense.
- I personally think more combats should be adjusted for LEVEL 5 besides the ones in Patch 9.
- SPIRITUAL WEAPON (Level 2 spell) was listed in PATCH 8 patch notes months ago and quietly erased. Did not appear in Patch 9. What is going on with this spell? It should have been added by now.
- Can we MOVE and RESIZE the COMBAT LOG? I would like to chance the placement of UI elements to suit my liking.
- Still way too many bombs on enemies that shouldn't have them.
ITEMS:- HEAVY ARMOR is still snubbed. Not only, but you removed the generic 16 AC HEAVY ARMOR drop loot early in the Crypt fight against Gimblebock and crew. There is no access to any real HEAVY ARMOR with effects or +1, unlike every other type of armor, until Grymforge. How can there be NO special HEAVY ARMOR with any kind of effects or buffs in a world otherwise littered with magical items that cater to every other class & build?
- Paladin should begin with HEAVY ARMOR. You have a potential 2H wielding Paladin with 14AC being a frontline fighter for a class that traditionally has +0 DEX modifier. A mage can have more AC than a starting Paladin. Unacceptable.
- HAMARRAFT weapon in Waukeen's Rest is again unreachable to access in Patch 9.
MISC:- You do NOT get a menu for active roll to apply Guidance in the menu when picking locks or disarming traps. You have to manually cast Guidance before attempting.
- Many times an ally is near but option to add Guidance or other bonuses do NOT show up during other skill checks.
- Listening in on cutscenes and dialogue has a disjointed delay and some random stuttering for other players.
- A few of the ranged crossbowmen AI completely bugged out and either did NOTHING or spammed Dash and did not move during the entire combat.
- Enemy AI is still overall disjointed with some turns/actions that make no sense.
- I personally think more combats should be adjusted for LEVEL 5 besides the ones in Patch 9.
- Circle of the Moon DRUIDs are still getting shafted by these "balance" changes. Wild Shapes for Moon DRUIDs need to be recalibrated.
I will update this list when I have more time.
