My one concern would be it using your reaction for this and poof goes uncanny dodge.
I've pretty much given up on returning rogues their kit by removing bonus action potions (& poisons!) & bonus action Hide. Plus that dumb ass "solution" being giving them 2 bonus actions. Makes no sense with the description of bonus actions.
This solution would bring us one step closer.
Lets just not talk about the jump costing a bonus action. Let's not. Except to say that its dumb.
