One clarification I would like to have, or more like making sure the version in GOG is correct, since, I have been hearing that GOG Galaxy commonly is delayed with the newest patches. This is in regards to the newest/last major patch #9.

So GOG shows the version of v4.1.1.2064610, however it indicates patch version 8, while seemingly numerical format would suggest version 9, so can anyone clarify what is it and either way there is an error somewhere, is it forum or GOG files description?

The version indicated in the game is the same as numerical one.

Referance within the forum, titled 'Patch #9 - Holy Knight - v. 4.1.1.2064610':

I also have the GOG version but I am not using GOG Galaxy. If you log in to GOG and look at the offline installers, there are currently two versions available to download. The one shown in your screenshot (which by the way seems to offer an update/upgrade of some sort as it reads patch 8 TO EA v4.1.1.2064610) as well as a clean install which only shows v4.1.1.2064610

In short: v4.1.1.2064610 is the current valid patch9 version number.

When using GOG Galaxy, I guess you only need the "Baldur's Gate 3" entry which also shows the correct version number. Ignore anything that has "patch8" in it.

Right it actually does make sense, reading into it now, instead of gibberish random text, deciphering it as:
Patch8_HF6 to EA - v4.1.1.2064610 => If you have patch # 8 installed, with Hot Fix # 6, install it in order to get version of Early Access version 4.1.1.2064610

I will close the thread, but I was really wondering when the patch comes to GOG, but apparently it's already there. I will change the title to sorted.
