bah, i don't care with this i'll just vote in something what i already tested. The previews are great and balballbaba but you just can give your opinion about the game after the test, don't have great value what we think before get the game.

because everybody thinks doom.3 will be the game of the year.

When RRR gets near of the 1st place in the Top 10, a lot of fans of the other games vote 1 for RRR.
So it goes down rapidly because RRR only has 388 votes.
And the other games have more than 1 000 votes.

Riftrunner is 6th with 6,12. It's not so bad.

Johnson, we do not know if RRR will be a great game, but we hope it would be.
And we are expecting that Larian could be able to develop other good games in the Divinity universe.
If you don't agree with that, just don't vote and wait for the RRR demo.

That's right Bean. All these previews sometimes don't work very well.

you can "feel" when something is not just wright.
when publishers put alot of advertisment into something.
i have somethimes the feeling they want to cover something up.

the best product mostely doesn't have the beautifulst packetch (spelling)

I don't know what is a lot of advertisement or too much advertisement.
But i am sure of that : for Divine Divinity there were not enough advertisement.
A lot of people who like RPG, did not buy it because they did not know anything about it.
Larian has a better communication for RRR, i think it is a good thing.

And Larian is a very very very small enterprise in Belgium and they need and deserve to be support.

That is just my own opinion and i don't expect that everybody agree with it.

Yo Barta, i agree with you man, if we expect some good result about the game we have to support them, but we have to wait for the results, the glory just have value after if you did something good.

When you read the Lar's interviews, you understand that RRR will be closely like Divinity, with quests, strategic combats, nice NPC, and a lot of items to find out.
It is not something really new.
Technically, it would be better with 3D characters, a better RPG engine, etc.
So if you liked Divinity, probably you will not be disapointed by Riftrunner.

I agree. Divine Divinity had no advertising from CDV at all (I was very surprised). And when some jerk changed the name to Divine Divinity, the game had small chances to sell. Still it sold and Larian is cooking something new.
Yet I presume you all spoke arround you about how <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> was great, didn't you?

a bit offtopic:
When I opened the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> manual I was amazed: after the installation instructions the first words were "Dear player". I mean how many games you know which start with "Dear Player" and have a text thanking you for buying the game?
Most of the bigger (note: "bigger", not "biggest") comanies do not care about the players. Only 3 companies I know who support their fans: Bioware, Irrational and Larian.
