Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Proficiency Isn't working correctly

I equipped a Rapier to Shadowheart and she still gets +3 to hit and 1d8+2 damage even though it clearly says she isn't proficient. She should only get +2 to hit for Dex and no plus to attack. The same also happened no matter what item I equipped to her.
