Yes, I feel like Doom 3 is Doom3d [doomed] too.
It is like return to basics: almost 9 years ago we had games without a story whatsoever, some guy shooting creatures using different weapons... Now after it all we're returning to the same idea. After games like Deux Ex, Thief, Rainbow Six: Raven Shield...

How popular is the site we're voting on? I never heard of it before so I was wondering if our votes will help something or it's time to change the site.

That is a good question. How many people visit this site every day ?
Are there a lot of RPG's gamers who visit this site ?

The people who voted it down 4 days ago just did so again. In 2 or 3 more days, it will go back up....

In a point, even Quake 3 Arena has a story, quoting some man:
"Once upon a time there was a man with a big gun and, oh my, he's dead!
*Ahem* Once upon another time there was a man with a BIGGER gun who stepped down the stairway and guess what, he's dead!
Let us restart: once upon some other time there was a man with the biggest gun who stepped down the arena and kicked [nocando]..."
You get the picture. Doom3's story is "In some ship things went horribly wrong and some guy have to stop it! That guy is you" DoeSn't it remind You of Some oThEr gaMe? most firSt person sHOoters don't have muCh of a story still people consider them [nocando]-Kicking, yet you forget them when another FPS comes out. That's what makes games like Deus Ex, Thief, No One Lives Forever so original. They had storylines which was more than a simple excuse to shoot somebody. If I say that Doom 3 doesn't have a storyline, I mean it doesn't have a story which can be resumed in 3 words: "You Are Alone".

Q :will there be horsies in the game?
A : absolutely, lots of them, about 10 000, totaly skinnable with the choise of hair and size.
you can even choose between female and male horse.

Q: will there be names of the forum members into to game?
A: abosulutely. EVERYBODY on the forum is included several times may i say soo!
for exemple : Lewstherinkinslayer13, will be the new duke of rivellon AND he will be the necromancer who set you up with the deadknight.

Q: will there be a multiplayer.
A: not at first, but NOW you can play up to 16 party members at a time. just remember to buy that 22" screen huh...

Q: what about the item generation?
A: we improved it so now it's fully generated. for exemple when you equip your hero with a sword.
everytime you hit an enemie, the game generates a new weapon.
thus the nexttime you want to hit the enemie you could be holding a hammer!
but that's not all! with every hit the game generates a new enemie also!
soo if you thinking your hitting an orc, you could be facing the succubus the next hit.
but it goes even better: even your character will be generated every hit you do.
soo playing as an urvivor? look again <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

q: there were generated maps/ quest also?
A: yes if you take on a quest , its possible that the quest will be generated while the other quest is still open.
thus changing your actions! it's fun!.
we also made a fully generated maps. when you buy a house . and come back it could be a totaly different house .
that's if you FIND your house back, because every map will be regenerated after a while.

Q: what about the enemies AI?
a: it's fully generated!
