Yup, now that the framework is there, we're going to see a lot of reaction-related mods. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was already working on adding spells like Shield and Absorb Elements into the game.
I hope they will add Shield and things in the official release now that we have Reactions.
I will give Larian the benefit of the doubt. They are still sitting on Spiritual Weapon, too.
