It's like this: Say what you want, but if not for BG3, Solasta would have tanked, and I'm guessing Pathfinder wouldn't have done as well, and there wouldn't be as much interest for people in the upcoming D&D movie, and the list goes on. BG3 is doing wonders for the genre, even if it isn't a perfect D&D 5e game.
I'm a huge fan of Solasta and Pathfinder, btw, so it has nothing to do with me being a die hard Larian fan or something. I'm just saying that the other games benefited greatly from BG3. I myself would never have played either if I hadn't heard about them because they were being compared to BG3, especially Solasta.
And I'm still hoping they finish strong and maybe even develop BG4 or some other Forgotten Realms games... Maybe branch out and do some Dalelands or Silver Marches or Rasheman country or Beastlands or whatever.
