I'm constantly surprised by the fact that I get Disadvantage on attacks because of "darkness". Because I can see just fine everywhere, including the Underdark. Or especially the Underdark that looks more like a huge lamp store.
I don't remember any place that would be dark enough to justify that Disadvantage. Light spells or torches aren't required to actually SEE, they're just for countering the Disadvantage. But you never have them prepared because it's not dark. You only realize it's "dark" when you're trying to attack something.
Can we make the "dark" areas actually dark so it's more intuitive and visually exciting?
It also made the Underdark a bit more atmospheric, having to cast light on my weapon.
