Yes, we are talking about this again. There are several things that still make no sense. While Larian did improve some things from the enemy AI behavior in combat, it is still lacking.
- Enemies with Hunter's Mark still cast Hunter's Mark after shooting arrows OR cast Hunter's Mark on a separate target and shoot someone else.
- Enemies with Hex and Eldritch Blast cast Hex after Eldritch Blast OR cast Hex on a separate target and Eldritch Blast someone else.
- Enemy Clerics overlap Bless on the same target(s).
- A few of the enemy Goblin archers "Sharp-Eye" have bugged out in Patch 9 and do NO actions for the entire combat.
- What is the AI of Gekh Coal after he was increased to L6? He is scripted to always open with Animate Dead (totally fine) and then after he spams Blindless and never uses his Great Axe despite being a Duergar with Extra Attack and high STR modifier. He refuses to do any melee attacks at all. Why does he even know Blindness?
- Why do enemies still use their Misty Step (Githyanki) to Misty Step a few meters that they could have walked?
- Why do enemies still not notice dangerous battleground efffects, e.g. Moonbeam, Cloud of Daggers and still walk right into them or through them?
- Enemy movement is so strange. They move around and move back to their original spot and just soak up free attacks of opportunity.
- Why do enemy Rangers have SO many spell slots to spam Ensnaring Strike? I thought we adjusted enemy spell slots down to equal of that of an actual player?
- The Phase Spider fight is not difficult by any means, but it's just annoying for no known reason other than to prolong that battle.
- Why are some enemies shooting through the floor, closed doors, walls when I do not have LOS back on them in return?
- Why are the Hooked Horrors now sometimes not Crying In Alarm at all or taking several turns to do so? Is this intended?
- Filro pretty much always opens with Hypnotic Pattern, except he casts it on himself as well. It succeeded on him...
- What is the point on the new Minthara combat? She wastes so many actions and bonus actions buffing and not actually doing anything.
- Enemies are blowing themselves up by backlash of surface effects and they don't seem to mind. They're helping kill themselves!
- I found three(!!!) bombs on one dead enemy. Why?????
