We cheated also yes.
Our "reaction" to the downvoters were a bit too "heavy", out of proportion.
with the side effect that we could create "new problems".

Carrie, there is a difference IMO:
There are voters voting us down constantly, I've been watching this for quite a while and mending the damage afterwards. It's totally ok, if a gamer votes from 1-10 - but 1000 votes in 3 hrs, ALL directed at Riftrunner has nothing to do with choice. This was the worst attack so far. And I jotted down the values for the other games = they had NO attack of this kind.
These voters are abusing their dynamic IP - so, I use mine to mend the damage.

You're right in one point: It's cheating on both sides, but if they stop their unfair attacks, I will stop my voting up.

I don't think so - because I had every 3rd vote this night, and I'm not so slow anymore. And would you believe ONE gamer going through this torture for 3 hrs? Nope, it's tactic IMO - but I'm a newbie, maybe I underestimate internet spite.
And this was not the first attack, it has been going on for days, starting between 3 and 5 am here.
I would have been content with the 8th-10th place, so <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/riftrunner.gif" alt="" /> is visible - but this downvoting started as RR wasn't even in the Top Ten <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> - and it was done fast, very fast and deliberately. If you would read the last 4-5 pages of this thread you could see the process.

Well, 3-5 am there - is about (give or take) 11am - 1 pm in North America...

Yes, I'm sure, I watched and highvoted of course. I jotted down my last account: 2800 at 5.00 am - at 5.31 am the attack started and I reacted. If you read the page before, you can see my last post after this: 3800.
Both posts in fact, DEATH. I was fought down to 6.96 at times when I had only every 3rd vote. And I don't know how many times I brought up the score to 7.000 again - then someone aided me. The attack stopped.

I was expecting this, so I stayed up all night, cold anger turns into determination in my case. It's not even totally about <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/riftrunner.gif" alt="" /> now in my case = I HATE foul play.
