Hi,

The Cracked Wall above Goblin camp has lesser toughness now which means it only takes damage above 10. What weapon do I need exactly to break through this wall? I've tried using a morning star for bludgeoning damage but I'm not doing any damage to it or Is it bugged?

Bludgeoning should be the way to go

not anymore, they seem to have changed it in patch 6. I had to use the smoke powder satchel from the windmill gnome to blow up the wall.

Check the morningstar's damage type, I believe it should be piercing, not bludgeoning.

I usually carry a maul for this kind of stonework. But if they changed walls' resistances, well, that might be a problem.

I had to use a bomb as well. Eldritch Blast does 1d10 + Cha and 2H sword does 2d6 + Str, so if you get lucky you might do over 10 damage but you have to hit over and over and over and over and over doing no damage at all except when you occasional roll over 10 damage. It has nothing to do with damage type. Bludgeoning vs piercing for example doesn't matter. You have to roll over 10 damage.

Sorted - throw one of those bombs at it - mine did 30 damage in one hit took it down easy - pay to kill the goblins and bugbears within earshot first though ..

Larian added a damage threshold mechanic. If you do less that the threshold it takes no damage.
In grymforge I used GWM and a maul to break through debris

Anything with force damage will work in patch 6 i.e, warlocks blast it or Wizards magic missile

In current patch they removed to force damage and any weapon type works... It's unclear if this is another bug or by design

Luke Skywalker: I don't, I don't believe it.
Yoda: That is why you failed.

You can use a smokepowder barrel too, there are a lot of those in the goblin camp and a couple in the Blighted Village.

I really hope its by design ...
Since despite its name, Force (via this article for example) is "pure magical energy" ...
So, not exactly "extra pushing" as one could presume from its name ...

Therefore it makes little sense to me to make Walls vulnerable by this ...

I would say that if there is any magical damage that should be working well in such case,
> it would be either Thunder ... yes, i know its basicaly "just loud sound" ... but thats exactly it, sound is a wave after all. smile
> or Acid ... i mean come on, disolving things is litteraly its only purpose. laugh

And obviously Bludgeoning, but that is not necesarily magical. smile
