What feats do you select? For Wyll I usually give him medium armor proficiency and increase his Dex with it. Lae'Zel Str and Dex +1 each. Astarion Dex and Wis +1 each. Shadowheart I never use. Gale I don't use often but if I do he gets hand crossbow and I forget what other weapons. For my main it depends on class of course.
