Yes, and there is some specific dialogue that gives a nice flavour though no big revelations or changes from the normal game, at least the way I played. My cleric may have been considered somewhat heretical, and was open to seeing Selune and Shar as necessary to one another.
I do take Shadowheart more often than not in my playthroughs. Though I agree you don’t need a cleric, I like her character and think she’s useful in combat. With my (Life) Cleric of Selune, I had him focus on buffing, healing and tanking, allowing her to focus on debuffing, damage and stealth. I thought they worked well together.
