I have a similar problem with the spell via scroll: Chromatic Orb. I cannot use it. It only shows empty hands by twisted arms.
Throwing vials works, even from a container, I mean. How do you throw your vials? From theinventory, the bar or from a container (backpack etc. pp.) put in your bar?
