I also don't get why you can inspect a creature and magically know everything about it ... weaknesses, hp, Ac etc etc that should require some sort of (high) skill check? Unless they have changed this? One of teh nice things about D&D is the unknown and having to figure out through lore/experience how to tackle various creatures - handing that out for free is crazy.
