To make the clashes with an evil Sharran priest possible, she should have an amnesia scene quite early if not immediately after the "reveal" so we can suspect all is not as it seems with her. Enemies of Shar need a much stronger hint at that.
Assuming the story unfolds so that we later get to decide whether she remains loyal to Shar or was always actually a brainwashed Selunite and remembers herself. Otherwise a conflict between a good party and a Sharran priest seems inevitable. And why would you invest in a companion that later turns on you?
