So there more to this then Unable to create a new character:


1. My previous save all in patch 9 save are Unable to use the teleporting waypoints or Long rest option. i have tried multi save files and tried multi things to try to fix this issue and nothing works.

2. After having tried the above mention issue i decided to try a new character and see if that is affected, Well cant even make a new character cause it bring me to this screen after the cutscene that show 2 naked dude and 2 armored dude with a little ways away near a campfire that has a naked dude and a Woman name Daisy VO and Male Daisy VO, So i cant even make a Character.



NO I DONT USE MODS!! i only recently bought this game during the beginning of December and this is the first major game breaking bug i experience. Please tell me how to fix this cause i rather not uninstall and wait 5 plus hours to reinstall this game.

Are you using Steam? You could try verifying the game files to see if that helps. I don’t know whether there’s also something similar for GOG.

You might also be better off submitting a ticket directly to Larian support on this issue (you can find a form to do so if you use the Feedback or Help options on the launcher). These forums are principally for other early access players to support one another, so if there doesn’t happen to be someone else who has had and fixed the issue then you might not be able to get the help you need here.

yes a few missing details; Gog, Windows 11, Mac
can't use fast travel is normally a profile issue but the long rest will be verify files because the ui changed

p.s, yes Gog has a verify assuming he used the Galaxy install ... the other Gog option is off line installers and they are patches so no verify in that case

srry for late response, yes i sent in a ticket yet to get a respone, have verifyed still didnt work am now uninstalling and reinstalling the game it is on steam, and am using Dierct x11 since the vulkan system doesnt seems to work on my windows

Yes am windows, done a verify on steam, am now uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that fix it 4 hour install but better then nothing

its worth saying Steam likes full permission... try that too
