i like lore, my first Bard was valor and i didn't care for it but that was a while ago and my last two Bards are lore which i have double checked still work fine at level 5... my current run just started is evil halfling valor ... ill check again when she reaches level 5
my point about not self casting is the trick you used to play 3X your own characters means [as far as game code is concerned] you are trying to cast on yourself when casting on your own party because they are all copies of you
you can test this senario by fighting one of the battles where you get allies like the druid grove or saving the druid boss... i'll willing to bet you can cast bardic inspiration on them more than once?
