This has probably been mentioned before. But as It Is right now. doing the steps Gale tells you to so he can be ressurected Is not nessesary, because It works just as fine with a scroll of ressurection.

So well. In my opinion that would be a bug even If I think you should be able to use a scroll on him also.

It's by design... The point of his little rant is just to warn you that leaving him dead will end your game

I think it’s mainly there to be funny (as well as impactful as Ussnorway says). It sounds as though it’s missed that mark for you, but it works for me .

I think it's a good role playing example of a wizard character with high Intel but low wisdom
