Damn ... i didnt read last question and voted that i will play as my least favourite companion ... Shadowheart.

I will only play as Tav, I hate premade characters in an RPG.
My favorite is of course my own made Tav. After that Shadowheart, then Lae'zel, Gale, Wyll.

Voted too fast on the last one expecting it would be "least favorite". That's one vote for Wyll I'm never going to play as.

In fact I'm not going to play as any Origin character ever. Half the fun in D&D is making your own character. I don't even understand the concept of not making your own character in a game that doesn't have a set protagonist (like Geralt of Rivia). I think Larian is reaching for the moon with this feature with no real benefits.

That and my char (who will presumably be a cute male half-naked half elf Barbarian) are my group. Quite boring, I think.

BTW I wouldn't take Halsin even if he would be mandatory for access to a hidden 50-hour-play area, had an I-win-spell attached and would gift me 100,000 gold. I could perhaps almost say I don't like him.

Updating evaluations. I think it has become clear that there is a particular order of favorites based on the three polls now:
1. Shadowheart
2. Gale
3. Lae'zel
4. Astarion
5. Wyll

No need for tier lists anymore. It is fairly consistent across all polls now.
