Yes, it's terrible, and often discussed before. I don't like Pathfinder, but the baggage and weapon/shield carrying visuals there are extremely superior to BG3. We need sheaths/slings, hip carriage for shorter weapons, visible shields and some kind of backpacks or shoulder bags. If they can do only one, I opt for visible shields.
@ Crimsonrider: why is Shadowheart wearing a 13 AC armor at that level and not a 14 AC scale armor (which you get at lvl 2 at the ruins)? Or is it a +1 armor and you use it because it looks much better?
