The block is not as effective as the greasmonkey script I wrote. For many reasons - log out, for example, and you'll see.
I include it below again in spoiler tags. You just need to install the greasmonkey plugin for your browser and copy and paste the below script for Larian forums. It works perfectly with the markup (I'm quite proud of it in a way).
For non-coders, const BLACK_LIST just needs anyone you don't ever want to see added with in this way:
const BLACK_LIST = [ 'hated persons name', 'hated person name 2 ];
Trust me, it's a million times more effective than block. Block is session-based (login) and even then you'll see the blocked person being quoted by others.
This script will remove the person on all levels: quoted, posts, whether you're logged in or not.
Really, it's been a breath of fresh air for me, but I've so far only used it on 1 person.
Back on topic: shit I'm running out of games I can 'big up'... but, eh, BG2 - man, I love that game. BG1 was good. I liked how rough around the edges it was. I liked the crudeness and the low-level-ness of it. And that red demon in the expansion pack was properly tough. Loved the art as well.
BG2 though is a masterpiece - we won't see this with BG3, and I think we all know that. How did they do it?
I think they just gave less of a fuck about making it 'epic' and made their own strange thing. Irenicus was an usual antagonist. Plus the voice actor completely nailed it. I'll never forget this game - every piece of artwork, every fight. And installed the 'tougher fights' mod... The illithids were also far better done in BG2. Their architecture was stranger, more convincingly alien. They were also more intimating, as at the level you fought them they could kill you with one hit...
oh that's right, you're the guy with the block list that keeps talking about Rag.

Well try play BG3 when is done in August 2023. If you then still think BG3 is not so good then fine.
I know that in BG 3 there are not what I would say good people that can join you. However ALFA is like 1/3 or less of the game. I would guess you can meet good people in BG3 that can join you. You should also know that in BG3 old ALFA the company were more annoying but they have done them less annoying at least.
Baldurs Gate 3 is a big city perhaps there finally we can meet some what I would say are good people that join you. Astarion - High Elf Rogue Gale - Human Wizard Lae'zel - Githyanki Fighter Shadowheart - Half-elf Cleric Wyll - Human Warlock They done that they are at less annoying then in old Early Access. You will meet someone from old BG1 and BG2 people that might join you or perhaps their younger next generation example daughter can join you.
Well anyone saying Wyll is good do not know what they talk about. I talking about a classic Paladin Good Lawful and Wyll is not Good in my book he is more like Neutral.
Well try play BG3 when is done in Augusti 2023. If you then still think BG3 is not so good then fine..
Never said it wasn't good - gameplay and art are looking good. As long as they can go back to the Patch 7 darkness (or give us that option).
It's not a bad game - I never said it was.
I just hate the writing. It's too tame for me mate, I could never like this crap. That's only one aspect of it though.
Ah ok then I understand then play games that you like more. However since you have bought Early Access you could wait for even longer time then August 2023. There could be some patches after full release but likely they will not change much the writing.
That said I understand if you want less tame then perhaps play does other games you like more. Same for me I know DOS2 is kind of more comedy and I have never played through DOS 2 and not interested to do it despite playing it slightly it is not among my best games.
BG3 I am so hardcore Dungeons Dragons generally fan so I have more or less adapted to it and more like concentrated to enjoy graphics, music, combat Dungeons Dragons 5 and Forgotten Realms World.
I have found some companions a bit annoying in Early Access and there are no good alignment companions so far in Early Access which I find very odd but I have ignored it and I believe that in at least chapter 2 there will be good aligned companions.
It could also be that that I as WOW ex player do pay to much attention to the writing because in WOW MMO typical (huge majority of WOW players) players never ever read stuff (except short version what must be done) they might see some short trailer in the game that comes during gameplay.
I am not sure exactly what you are looking for, but reminds me of Age of Conan MMO that I played Barbarians are not tame... I found even once in a quest a bound woman that had naked boobs since I played it during very early release (perhaps after I quit they did that MMO less nudity while Witcher 4 I am over 99% sure it will have full nudity) Yeah and I played Age of Conan MMO on full PvP server it was brutal and the writing was not tame.
That said at end of day I believe it is subjective taste and for me I believe BG3 will be very good game and in fact talked with my brother today and he said happily that he will play BG3 with me when it is fully released in August 2023.
Ah ok then I understand then play games that you like more.
Haha, I do bud - don't worry. AOE2 DE was bought for less than 10 euro I think - it is still going strong.
Just because I think BG3's writing is crap doesn't mean I can't enjoy the game. I like the art and the gameplay, like I said.
Bad writing is not going to stop me from enjoying the game. Like you said, you can just skip it all like a poorly written MMO. Which is what BG3 is, really.
Combat is enjoyable. The graphics were great before they brightened it up too much.
Crap writing is hardly a reason to abandon a game - and this is just a forum where we 'express our thoughts': I'm not trying to change the game's writing, I'm just giving me 2 cents that I think it's dirt.
I still look forward to the final product in terms of gameplay/graphics.
They want Baldur's Gate 3 to be good. They WANT to like the game. Is that so confusing?

Thanks, you good people.
I'm tired of having to repeat my answer to this ridiculous question again and again, and won't be doing so anymore. But I greatly appreciate you guys pointing out the very obvious answer.
Here us some bunch of more odd titles and some even only Playstation 5 and some of them perhaps will not be even released though I am pretty sure AAA game Ark 2 with celebrity Vin Diesel will be in that game. ' 0:00 Intro 0:28 Project M 1:30 Kingdom Hearts 4 2:35 ILL 3:37 The Invincible 4:31 Layers of Fear 5:15 Redfall 6:11 THe Day Before 7:03 Hell is us 7:51 Ark 2 8:26 Black Myth Wukong 9:30 Quantum Error 10:29 Instinction 11:24 Wronged Us 12:13 Stalker 2 13:03 Senua's Saga: Hellblade II I posted that since in that long list I am sure someone on the forums will find interesting more or less. Be warned I do not believe they all will be necessary will be released and if so as good games on top of that. However there are potential there for sure perhaps even a a great game among them for you. In addition at leart one of them seems to be Playstation 5 only game.
Which games do I believe 100% sure come out on PC? Eh not so expert on them but at least these two for sure: 7:51 Ark 2 13:03 Senua's Saga: Hellblade II
10:29 Instinction sounds very interesting. I am not saying no other title will be released but they are not my expertise and these two that I mentioned does interest me more or less. Oh and they are all UNREAL 5 engine games. Quantum Error is Playstation 5 game only.
Hahaa Ark 2 and Instinction perhaps I should see the first Jurassic Park movie again. I know Senua's Saga bought as Senua game for big discount years ago and yeah pretty cool would not say it is among my top games but not bad Horror, Action, Fantasy, and Drama and basee on History facts though goes into fantasy and Horror not realistic as well.
What history event as base for story of first Senua game? My ancestors were Vikings... There is a story about a Pict people on an Island they were doing well until one day arrived Vikings. It is one of the most cruel and nasty Viking stories do not like what was done to the Picts but everyone of them on that Island was killed or taken as slaves. Picts themselves can fight yes, but the Vikings were to strong. Only those Picts that were example fishing and not on Island survived from being killed or being taken as slaves. Senua is a pict woman warrior and she lived in that time exactly when Vikings attacked that Island it is base on true history that attack on the Island by Vikings. I do not believe there is any proof of a woman named Senua existed, but that attack on Island which became a massacre on the people Picts on that Island happened.
It is also true that worst death of Vikings is not fast brutal death if you are captured you can be either taken as slaves or sacrificed in bloody ritual (Blood Eagle death example) or killed simply in none to fast and horrible way... so everything in that game that is not fantasy/Horror could have happened. I would still say Blood Eagle is perhaps rare way to be killed and many times simply mass killing slain on the spot brutally is death from Vikings, but sometimes they want captured enemies not to die fast.
The picts had skills in fighting and were armed, but the Vikings were to strong during that time and Vikings were powerful.

What is missing really much is Throne of Liberty MMO aka Lineage 3 that will be released in year 2023 and is high budget AAA game.
I have even better waiting for 2 MMO that has yet no name and release is something between 2025-2030 one of the being the new Dungeons Dragons AAA high budget MMO with Unreal 5 engine developed in USA. Please note all those games will perhaps not be released (could be cancelled) and Ashes of Creation MMO perhaps release year is 2025. Well so even if the titles says released in 2023-2024 it could be cancelled or postponed to 2025 or later.
Ok now I guess many think my story about Vikings on Pict Island is bullshit? Do not see the old BBC documentary it is so wrong I almost throw up. Vikings had long control and power in France example which was not even mentioned in BBC so called crap documentary.
Viking Raid on Picts Quote: AS the Vikings sailed away, they probably thought they'd done a good day's work.
The Pictish fort behind them was ruined and ablaze, its defenders put to the sword and anything worth looting had been thoroughly pillaged.
But now archaeologists examining the remains of the 10th-century settlement at Burghead on the Moray coast say the attack by the Northmen has actually helped preserve the site and ensure it could be studied by future generations.
A team probing the ruins have been amazed by the detail of the structures left behind, which include a Pictish longhouse and a huge timber-laced wall which would have stood more than six metres high.
The fort at Burghead is believed to have been one of the most powerful created by the Picts, and was the largest of its kind in Scotland. The raid which brought about its destruction probably spelled the end for a way of life for Pictish life on the promontory, and little archaeological work has been undertaken there as it was believed all significant evidence was destroyed when the building of the modern town commenced in 1805.
However, a team from the University of Aberdeen led by Dr Gordon Noble, head of archaeology at the University, returned to Burghead in April to continue excavations at the fort and have made a series of startling discoveries.
Dr Noble explains: “We are fortunate to have the descriptions of the site written by Hugh Young in 1893. He describes a lattice work of oak timbers which would have acted as an enormous defensive barrier and must have been a hugely complex feat of engineering in the early medieval period.
“In the years that have passed since he made his observations, the Burghead Fort has unfortunately been subject to significant coastal erosion and the harsh North Sea environment.
The level of preservation has allowed the archaeologists to take multiple samples for carbon dating which should provide new insights into the period when the fort was built, its construction and final destruction.
“The Picts were a huge influence on northern Scotland but because they left no written records, archaeology is essential in providing answers in regard to their lives, influence and culture,” Dr Noble added.
I just started Hogwarts Legacy and it really is a delight.
Well about Harry Potter ....the first movie I did not see in cinemas when released. I did see it later in long distance airplane travel vacation. I had' heard Harry potter mentioned before, but new only it is some kind of fantasy. I was pleasantly charmed by the first Harry Potter movie. That is an experience I will never forget when I had 0 expectations and yes the first Harry Potter movie was very good movie. Enjoy the game.
Looking at all the lists of people I have to ask, do you guys have/not have a *type* for the video games you like to play? I very much limit myself to RPGs for the most part, though I occasionally will play a city/base/empire-builder game. But many of you seem like you play games across a great many genres. Just curious about this.

No not really same taste as you at leat with so much focus on none MMO RPG. If you look at nistory I have played much all of these genres: A. RPG none MMO B. RPG MMO C. FPS games . but would say this is clear minority nowadays unless you count PvP in a MMO as FPS like gameplay. D. Strategy games but clear minority nowadays. E. New category short story Horror /Action gamepley Senua... minority but this is new for me and not dying. F. Sport games including racing with car, but a very small minority indeed almost extinct nowadays.
Well and" Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. " in my book that is fantasy RPG.
