Windows just did an update on my machine, and told me that my system was not up to snuff for the new Windows 11.
I shall rant now ... thanks for letting me get this off my chest, I will feel better soon ...
OK, so tell me just what is gonna be so great about Win 11 that will make me want to buy a whole new machine? The jump from DOS to Windows was great, liked that a lot. The jump to WinXp was also great, happy to do it. The transitions from 7 - 8 - 10 left me wondering why they even bothered? Nobody really liked Win 8, and Win 9 was so bad they just skipped it. 10 is actually closer to XP, so I will accept that one, but I still hate a bunch of the features in 10 (like automatic full-screening when you drag a window too far to an edge, OMG that is awful).
Will BG III run on Ubuntu? I am just about ready to jump off the MS wagon. And no, I don't want to get locked in with Apple, either. Sheesh.
