this notion of buffing ONLY 1 PARTY MEMBER, and not even being able to buff yourself is terrible.
why play a bard if you are 1 at a time buffer, and cant even augment yourself?
they need to boost bards power in the game.
IE have combat inspiration add a haste effect, or ae heal effect, or sleep effect tht we can choose which one we want.
also the fact that we cnt buff ourselfs really is infuriating
