Good question. I don’t know how far from Neverwinter his influence would have spread. As per the FR wiki: “He ended up in Neverwinter, where he opened up a shop in the merchant quarter to sell items he had acquired during his travels. His prowess and fame in the area led to a street being named after him, Deekin's Street, in the Protector's Enclave within Neverwinter many years later. Later in life, he returned to his tribe, became their leader after all and made the first joint human and kobold community in the realm.” That plus his writings about his adventures would certainly have the potential to change perceptions of kobolds as necessarily aggressive and isolationist, but I don’t know how far they’re actually supposed to have done so as of the late 1400s when BG3 is set.

You know i read somewhere that someone played as a Kobold and he ended up blowing himself up to save the party that didnt like him but he called them his friends and yeeted the BBEG into the void
