Does not look better at all to me. There is even a wheel to select your attack.
The only thing that is better is that the screen is a lot cleaner, but many suggestions were made to make the UI less overwhelming (like removing informations that are given more than once, better ui for spell_container, better ui for items, smaller minimap, reaction ui, big health bar+name+buff+action+... on top of the screen, highlighting tab system,.......)
