I'm not crazy about the "new art cover," basically because the faces are all a bit "off," imo...;) They are just different enough from the former depictions (including in-game rendering) to be noticeable. Does this presage a model change in the game? I hope not, although my male Ranger still has a few very dumb expressions to cross his face occasionally...;) He's much better than he was many months ago--much improved. Still, I think some effort should be put into making him look less idiotic at times...;) The other characters never manage to look so slack-faced, for some reason.
Looking forward to the release in August!

Not on meme, but so help me, if there isn't full Balduran regalia in this game, complete with horned helm, I'll be very cross You only get Baldur's Plate if you pay the full Baldur's Rate. Paying full also adds Personality Attributes and Baldur's Trait to the character creator.

You only get Baldur's Plate if you pay the full Baldur's Rate.
Paying full also adds Personality Attributes and Baldur's Trait to the character creator. Phew, saved it. Funnily enough, if you count all the Baldur's Gate installments: -Baldur's Gate -Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast -Baldur's Gate 2 -Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal -Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance -Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 -Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear Doesn't that make Baldur's Gate 3 Baldur's Eight?

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings.  Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are!

For me, more on our companions would be great. They could actually go into who Jaheira and Minsc are, for starters. The five origins have been front and centre in marketing since the beginning, but they've already confirmed Minsc is a party member, so let's give newcomers a chance to get excited over this beloved dude. Maybe they could talk about Baldur's Gate and why it's a big deal? Like, it's a place, a city. Give us some CONTEXT for it so we get why it's at all significant beyond "it's the closest big city we can get to." Stuff about the world and setting would be great.

I wonder ... How about turning it around? What content reveal would you welcome in next community update? Any basic feature we haven't got to see : monk, remaning races, remaining subclasses, remaining companions, multiclassing, difficulty levels, etc...

Good ideas @Gray Ghost! :3 Hope someone from Larian will read them. Maybe some nice Community Manager would let them know? O:) --- @Snowram I wouldnt make it a wishlist ... there is several other topics for that, and it mostly lead nowhere anyway. I mean ... Since they allready promised revealing others, there is quite high chance that they will no matter reactions in this topic ... but still, i just wanted to provide some alternatives, bcs honestly i didnt think about any.  Also i kinda wondered, if that would spark a conversation, if we (as a comunity) would be able to agree on some content.

(It would be nice if our party had some sort of base, a house or some rooms at an inn, perhaps)
And I would like to hear about remaining companions, too. Although I really like the companions we've already met.

And I would like to hear about remaining companions, too. Although I really like the companions we've already met. Yes... here's hoping they instate Baldur's estate, and perhaps an in-game camera so we can have Baldur's portrait.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes Paintings from Rivellon, which might be for a party house or base! That's good news! I need a place to showcase all this beautiful silverware I .... found. And the oil lamp, the music box, the paintings ... Oh, and a lot of bookshelves. Lots and lots of bookshelves 😂 I wonder how our neighbours will react to our owlbear cub.
