I'm afraid some constructive criticism does help sell the game. E.g:
-- the alternate camera that just makes the game 200% better. There is much stunning terrain just /there/ we can't really appreciate. The current camera is off-putting and anyone seeing gameplay footage will soon deduce it sucks.
-- combat skill animations being over the top. Like a rogue levitating ominously in the air before shooting a single crossbow bolt. For once not having this in a game would add more identity.
-- ass marketing. They've been doing okay so far, but that last trailer had no particular direction. Complaints about ruining the mystery were fair and a personal perspective. Put someone with relevant expertise on that team.
-- class balancing. Larian is clearly trying to make some classes more playable. I'd be nice if more were....
Complaining isn't constructive criticism. But, honestly? Is Larian reading through our long ass threads, or making a check list of things that pissed people off? A dude being super angry will probably get more attention than a 5k essay on the merits of not having speak with animal potions /everywhere/.
