I think that it absolutely calls for discussion.
My only question would be: How is is possible that i never seen it in game? O_o
Is that some kind of mod? If so, its certainly interesting idea and i love it!
Larian's implementation of Oathbreaker was much more interesting than just selecting oathbreaker as a subclass.
Well, yes ... but also nope.
I have no problem with Larian implementation, breaking our Oath should have consequences ... even tho there are [Paladin] taged dialogue choices that goes directly against our Oath (deceiving those two Tieflings who have found Lae'zel) but dont break it ... and then there are perfectly normal situations that do (there was several examples on forum lately) ... so it certainly require some tuning.
BUT!
I still think we should get option to "just select Oathbreaker as a subclass" ... after all, our character dont start existing at character creation, and in curent system, IF we want to play Oathbreaker ... we are forced to play some dude, who uphold his oath for his whole life, until now, when he ruthlessly murder first inocents he meet for no reason at all.

Kinda immersion breaking i would dare to say.
