Even the occasional "betrayer" will have the "redemption quest" available at that point.

I think you're correct though, I think it'll be a 'max out affinity and do their quest and they trust you/become nicer'.
Well, yes and no, because technically speaking Camellia never really attempts to betray, abandon or backstab you, either.
It's more than once you discover she's the deranged psychopathic she is, it's up to you to "overlook her "minor personal quirk" or going "Not on my watch, Jack the Ripper".
