Shove-to-automatic-stand-up – I guess there been countless threads about this one so I wont get into it more then saying it makes and breaks alot of other spells/actions. Fun? Shore is but not the DnD i have played and loved for 30+ years (no matter what edition)

Everyone loves when things go BOOM! Except those standing where it actually happens. No one juggles with fire or smokes on petrolstations. – Why do so many enemies stand just beside firewine kegs or smokebombs? Keep the kegs in a cellar and just drink from a bottle. Its just as stupid as all the don’t-push-the-self-destruct-button in SciFi. Let us player figure out how to play tactical.

Enemies shouldn't fall to begin with if you shove them away. In 5e, "Shove Prone" and "Shove Away" are two separate actions, but Larian hasn't implemented the former for some reason.
- You want to move an enemy away so you can move without provoking attacks or make attacks at not-Disadvantage? You don't also get the free benefit of making them prone.
- You want to shove an enemy prone, giving Advantage on adjacent attacks against them and Disadvantage on theirs? You don't also get the free benefit of shoving them away.

An exception could be if the enemy takes fall damage -> they make a Dex (or Str) ST to remain standing, with the DC dependent on the damage taken.

Didn't think I needed to go deeper with the subjects, but its the free-action-to-shove-prone-to-automatic-stand-up.

Someone: complains about Larian cheese.
Larian: Not in the mood for cheese? That excuse has more holes than a slice of this fine Gorgombert!

Be the big cheese on your block with a wheel of the good stuff! No one has as many friends and the man with many cheeses!

well in the game you cant attack if you are prone... so that changes things a lot.

In the game you cannot be Prone while it is your turn at all - falling prone immediately ends your turn, and you automatically recover from prone at the beginning of your turn.

We cannot say whether Larian's game code allows you to attack while prone, because other circumstances of their code prevent us from ever having the opportunity - namely that 'prone' carries with it 'unconscious', so whenever you are 'prone' for whatever reason, you are also 'unconscious', and thus incapacitated and incapable of doing anything at all.

This needs to be fixed, but has been like this for along, long time and despite numerous reports has not been corrected yet.
