I’m thinking we’ll at least get to the Blushing Mermaid and the Elfsong Tavern in Baldur’s Gate, given that certain Tavs can pick one or the other as their preferred drinking hole, and I’m sure at least one if not two people in EA tell us that they drink in the Elfsong Tavern and that they’ll see us there (Rugan? The tiefling who wagers they’re not going to survive the goblins? I don’t remember for sure). And I hope that we might stop by the Friendly Arms Inn if it’s still there and we have reason to be south of Baldur’s Gate.
But even if I’m pretty sure we’ll get to go to at least some taverns that aren’t on fire at the time, it’s true that we may not be required to do so in order to rest even in built up areas. Personally, I think I’d prefer that we did have to visit taverns or a home base in town to rest, but don’t feel particularly strongly about it.
Yes, Bex and Danis will be at the Elfsong Tavern, and we'll find Lakrissa somewhere, too.
