Need to add a quick note to this. Arrow of roaring thunder and arrow of darkness do not apply reeling or bane to targets outside the primary. This is probably because the secondary effect isn't an attack roll. Also if you wish to use an AOE arrow as an attack + extra attack it must be fired at an enemy/make an attack roll. If you fire it at the ground near an enemy it will consume your full action. Though it does look like with acid/fire/frost/lighting arrows reeling and bane can still be applied targeting via this method.
