It is announced that we will get the in-game content Paintings from Rivellon with the Digital Deluxe Edition. It is speculation that these paintings are for a house or base. It seems likely to me!

That would be nice 👍

Speaking of portraits, I hope we will meet Oscar Fevras (the painter) again, and that we can actually have our portrait painted. It would be nice if we could also ask him to portray Astarion, to help him with his mirror/missing reflection problem.

I don't know, races, classes, companions, but no story or villain spoilers.

Well spells and bug fixes are nice but if the game actually boots that would be a victory this time around

Moon druid can only wild shape in beast. Owlbear is monstrosity. Then its not possible.

Even the promotional material from the D&D movie acknowledge it and makes fun of it.

Yes but Larian already announced that moon druids will be able to wild shape into owlbears in BG3.

Once you have a movie or book allow druids to turn into owlbears (as is now the case) then it becomes cannon so your wiki page is wrong and Larian is correct

Wikis are descriptive, not prescriptive.

Wrong. WotC has repeatedly said in the past that DnD movies and video games are not canon, and only material in official DnD sourcebooks are canon.

My question is, what does canon really amount to in a ttrpg? I get the value of it, but what does it actually matter? I mean, I love the Pathfinder setting in 2e, and there's way more to it than 5e has for the Forgotten Realms. But if I ever get to GM a session, then the Stolen Lands will be ruled by my character from Kingmaker, and the Sarkoris Scar will be thriving thanks to the hard work of my Knight Commander, who is now an up and coming angelic demigoddess. 'Canon' in a medium that is at its core meant to be mucked with by other players, is a fuzzy thing at the best of times, if you ask me.
