Just to back up what others have said about RAM, my gaming laptop came with 8GB and BG3 ran okay but loading times got longer and longer … and longer. Adding more RAM fixed that problem for me. Our systems aren’t necessarily comparable in other ways, so from advice here it sounds as though it might be worth giving the game a go with your current setup before splashing out!
