I can confirm that kits for disarming traps and kits for lockpicking are consumed only in case of failures, and I appreciate it very much.
Why should I lose my screwdriver if I successfully disarm a trap? If the trap explodes, then the tool breaks in the process, is logical to me... Besides, we already have enough stuff to lug around, why want to hoard more... I bet we will get more stuff with full release, to carry around...
