Why is it horrible to have more vendors, or at least some good vendors who don't vanish or got killed. If you are referring to the idea of isolation, then I agree, shouldn't be the case. I would be satisfied if Mr. Grove-Vendor just would get better and more stuff (healing potions for example) and money over time.
I do not concur with a lot of the points on the list, for example I like Shadowheart and Lae'zel. For me, besides the sad stealth system, the terrible camera is the biggest gripe. It should have a bigger vertical movement around the x-axis, it's restriction is annoying.
