As things stands I really dislike portraits in the game. They are boring and blend. Yea its minor, but like so many things in the game UI (it did get better! but still lacks imho) it is completely...UN-imaginitive for a BG fantasy D&D game setting.
I would like to suggest some kind of AI portrait generation ( adds a background, some kind of classic painting filter, ...anything!) to match our custom characters.

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..
